Title: Where can I get the DIR 855 is the US?

I've been looking to get this router but I can't find it in stock anywhere. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

The D-Link site says that they are only available as a pre-order.

Amazon.com has them in stock now.

Do you really want to get one?  They are "not available" for a reason you know...major problems.  Probably the reason they were so delayed to sell in the first place.  Unfortunately the Linksys equivalent has it's own problems and not a better alternative.

not exactly. According to their page, it "Usually ships within 1 to 2 months."
