Maybe try a different FTP server?

Might check with the Mfr of your current FTP server to see if there is any help on this with there server SW.

Two features I would like to see in the 2630,

(1)
 WDR ( wide dynamic range ) variable contrast level, similar to the 2530.
Would really help when camera is pointed outside during bright daytime.

(2)
 And the ability to turn off ir lights when in night mode, similar to the 2530.
Would help some when camera is pointed outside looking though glass window at night.
Otherwise the camera is blinded by infrared reflection on window at night.

I doubt that is possible.  Gb42 might be able to confirm.
It's not a f/w issue,  it's a h/w issue.  Things aren't wired the same.

Try a 2230 non L camera for pointing outside.
