Title: Router died, how do i change network password for my wireless cameras?
Post by: FTLOSM on November 02, 2016, 11:52:09 AM
Our router was flaky, the cable company came out with a new one, I have a new wifi password, my dcs 903 cameras are setup wireless but i need to adjust the wifi passwords on them, don't laugh but I can't figure out HOW to do this, i've been in my dlink account, ive been in my dviewcam settings, I just can't see where or how to adjust the wifi settings to get the cameras back into my wifi with the new password.

I may have to just reset the cameras I guess, kinda a pain but in dview i can click a camera and go to web interface but now that the router changed on the wireless ones the go to web interface button is greyed out ;(

Do you have access to the main host routers UI? You could change the PW on the router to what it was prior. You don't have to use a new PW.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

It's always cheager to buy in the long run than rent anything from your cable company.

I ended up just doing a full reset on them didn't take too long more of a pain than anything else.
