Add-on "ownCloud v8.2.3" for D-Link NAS

[Add-on] ownCloud v8.2.3

[Description]
ownCloud is a software system for what is commonly termed "file hosting". As such, ownCloud is very similar to the widely-used Dropbox, with the primary difference being that ownCloud is free and open-source, and thereby allowing anyone to install and operate it without charge on a private server, with no limits on storage space (except for hard disk capacity) or the number of connected clients.
ownCloud v9.x is impossible to do because of the very old MySQL, the built-in firmware. But I'm working on it.
It requires preinstalled addon PHP (free)

[Version]
Add-on Package v3.00
Attention! This is the commercial version of the add-on.

Is it safe to update owncloud from within owncloud i.e. log in as admin, go to admin tab click up upgrade centre and then hit update? this will take me to version 8.2.1 or will this break anything that you have done to get it working in which case should i just get this v8.2.3 package you have linked here and install it over the top of my current 8.0.4 version?

Thanks for any advice, also what is meant by this is the commercial version of the add-on?

Thank you  ;D
