How to reset firmware?
« on: March 05, 2020, 04:50:52 PM »

Hello - I used the steps  https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/D-Link_DIR-868L <-here to try to attempt a factory firmware reset b/c it appears the router is corrupted. However, though I disabled the firewall and set the static IP, I can never get the "Unidentified network" to get to the firmware upload page- it's super unstable and never works. Can anyone help?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
