Emailed snapshots not catching anything

Currently the camera has 60% signal strength and is constantly sending me emails of detected motion but there's never anything in them. So I went outside and walked around in front of it and never set it off.  Then while I was sat at my computer trying to make adjustments I watched a crow land on my yard plain as day and again it never set it off.  Am I missing something?

Let me make one more suggestion.  I had an issue with my 5010L camera some time ago where the motion detection partially stopped (Video did not work, JPG worked)  I rebooted my wireless router for other reasons and all of a sudden the camera started working OK.  I does not make sense but just offer up as a suggestion.
