can't see specific network (weird)
« on: June 29, 2019, 03:43:59 PM »

I have a 2012 Dell Inspiron 17r with an Intel b/g/n card running Windows 10. It can see every wifi network in the building except mine. In addition, every other device in the household (3 phones, 1 Mac and 1 Windows 10 laptop) can see/connect to the network just fine.

Possible clue: the "blind" laptop is the one that I used for initial setup by ethernet cable and it can access the network by this cable.

I have tried:

- fully updating Windows
- full Windows network reset (reinstalls drivers, requires reboot)
- factory resetting the router

Any ideas? Someone mentioned channels, not sure how to check for that. Unfortunately, my new replacement laptop needs a replacement so I'm relying on this one for work.
