I use the camera to record continuously 24/7. With v1.03.01, I can no longer see the video thumbnails when using mydlink-lite app on my iphone/ipad. This makes it impossible to quickly scan all videos looking for a particular event (the thumbnails tell me if I need to look in the video or not). In contrast, previous version v1.02.02, I do get the video thumbnails with mydlink-lite, but there are gaps between video files (20-45 seconds of missing video all the time). Clearly this is a firmware compatibility issue...
Bottomline : I can not use this camera for my needs until this is fixed. I had to resort back to an old Dlink camera to do what I need. crazy!

Can you downgrade to the working version of FW and see if the problem resolves?

Yes I did the downgrade yesterday to v1.02.02 (and reformat the SD card) and the video thumbnails are all there.....However with this firmware version, there are 20-45 second gaps between each video file. This is not good for me, I need full 24/7 video coverage. I can accept 1- 2 second gap but 45 sec is way too much.
After the downgrade to v1.02.02, I did the upgrade (also yesterday) to v1.03.01 (and reformat SD). No more video thumbnails. But, no more gaps between videos. I can get full 24/7 video coverage but with no thumbnails.
Are there other FW versions that I can try? I was only able to find 1.03.03 & 1.02.02.

Thank you for the details.
I would send D-Link support a email or contact them on chat if your in the USA and let them know what your seeing with this new FW versions and differences your experiencing.

I upgraded to firmware 1.05.05 more than a month ago, and the motion detection works significantly better than earlier releases -- much fewer false positives and false negatives. It is a huge improvement over earlier versions.
