I have two cameras one is a DCS-930L and one is a DCS-942L both are connected to my 2 in 1 router/modem thorough an eternet cable. If I'm on my home network I can access my cameras fine on the mydlink app. But if I'm trying to access my cameras remotely on the app it shows they are connected and have a cloud symbol next to them but when I click one it just continues to say "connecting" then says "could not connect". How can I resolve this issue?

DId you go through the Installation wizard from the CD?

Also, what gateway do you have, pretty sure it needs to be UPnP compatible.

It's a Motorola sbg6580 router/modem. I'm sure it's upnp compatible. And yes it was run with the installation disc.
