I donwloaded and installed the 2.01NA firmware this afternoon and the router seems much faster than with the 2.00NA. The VPN my wife uses to work from home also seemed faster and more stable. I think I'm going to like this; although, I wasn't having a lot of the problems others have mentioned here. One thing I did notice is that the Daylight Savings button seems to work with the scheduling option now. Before, it didn't matter what the start and end dates were set for. It just advanced the time by one hour no matter what.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this will allow the 655 to play a little more nicely with my Nettalk Duo.

I just upgraded my firmware from 2.00NA to this latest one 2.01NA. I don't know if anyone has experienced this problem. After the firmware upgrade, when I login using moxila firefox or any internet explorer, I alway see this error (problem loading page: The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.)

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Please try again.

I kept trying several time and it will and sometime it will take me back to the status page or login page again.
Please if anyone has experienced this same issue or know how to resolve it, please let me know. My router is DLINK-655 version B. and my ISP is Times warner. Thanks.

Do a reset to Factory Defaults on the Router and reflash.  Then do your settings by hand, don't reuse the config file.

I have the  Dir655    Hardware Version: B1      Firmware Version: 2.00

i want to use Firmware: 2.01NA  ( need the alg settings)

But when i try to upgrade it says :

"The uploaded firmware file may not be correct. You may have uploaded a file that is not intended for this Gateway, or the uploaded file may be corrupted.

If the uploaded file is correct, it is possible that the gateway may be too busy to properly receive it right now. In this case, please try the upload again. It is also possible that you are logged in as a "user" instead of an "admin" - only administrators can upload new firmware.

The Gateway will not be reprogrammed. "

Tried resetting the router, i am logged in as admin and i'm on a wired connection to the router.

So what can i try now?

Hope someone can help me out here :)

Hi Jalapano,

On the downloaded firmware for the Unit, right-click and click rename. Do a Ctrl -c for copy. Post the exact information in a reply here.

Also, after you are logged into the Gateway Settings, post exactly what it saids on the very top line.

Hi Jalapano,

My second information is missing from your post.

Where is the information from the very first line at the very top of the Gateway Settings Page?

Better yet, do a PrtScrn Snapshot and post a Jpeg Image, of the very top of your Gateway Settings Page, if you don't know what I am referring to.
