Title: router dir-626L : can't register router with mydlink ("cannot login to mydlink")

A few months ago I bought a dir-626L router. Recently I thought I'd try the mydlink features.
In the admin interface, I go through the necessary steps to start from scratch (don't have an account yet, etc etc).

After filling out the form with my email address, username, password etc. and clicking on "register", all I get is a popup with the message "Cannot login to mydlink".

I've tried this from several different devices with different browsers (if that makes any difference).

Any ideas ?

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
• Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
• What region are you located?

3rd Party Security Software Configurations

• Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
• Turn off all devices accept for one wired LAN PC while testing.
• Disable any downloading client software managers, i.e. Torrents or similar.

Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

mydlink.com Supported Browsers
Internet Explorer 7 or higher (32-bit)
Firefox 12 or higher
Chrome 20 or higher
Safari 6 or higher (Mac OS only)

HW : 1A
FW : 1.03 (upgraded  a few days ago)
region : Belgium / Europe

Tried your other suggestions in just about every possible combination  :)
but no joy ...

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get help on this.
