No change since last post Wii(s) still not connecting to the DGL4500(h/w:A1)(F/W:v1.22NA).
what have these Devs been up to for the last month? ie not even a new Beta update??

Melchior,

What wireless channel do you have the router set to?
I have a Wii and it is connected to my DGL-4500 A2 on channel 1.

Read somewhere that the Wii only likes the common channels 1, 6, 11 they are non-overlapping channels.

The ports need updated for the game ("Application") World of Warcraft. The proper ports are now:

TCP: 1119, 3724, 6112-6114, 4000, 6881-6999

UDP: 3724

My router keeps on rebooting, I really don't know why, I have been using this firmware since it's release date, but last week it started with the problems.
I have acquired a new laptop, a Sony Vaio Z, which has 802.11n, and I have been using it.
I have normal torrent usage and it seems that my router only reboots when torrent is running, don't know why!
I have also acquired a new wireless phone that works on the 2.4Ghz spectrum, but idk if that is what is causing the problem.
In the moment, I have the connected the PS3, a NAS and my home server connected with the cable. Maybe 3 or 4 laptops on wireless.
My settings are as follows:

Wireless LAN

Wireless Radio : Enabled

802.11 Mode : Mixed 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11b

Channel Width : 20MHz

Channel : 11

Secondary Channel :

WISH : Active

Wi-Fi Protected Setup : Enabled/Configured

Guest Wi-Fi Protected Setup : Enabled/Not Configured
SSID List
    Security Mode
    WPA/WPA2 - Personal

Any ideas/solutions to my problem?
Thankfully,

I presume that your are using v1.22NA fw?

What happens if you try to use Wireless G mode only at 2.4Ghz Channel width> Auto?

Let us know.
I would re-post this in the main 4500 forum as well for further viewing and responses by others.

I need 802.11 n because of the MacBook Pro, I dont know why, but as I live in an apartment, when I only use G, the signal doesn't reach my living room, where the MBP is located as a media server.
I'm starting to get worried

Ive been running 1.22NA for over a week now and it's perfect. I have 13 devices on my network and everything is running without any problems.

I just recently picked up this router. I am on 1.21NA and I am having occasional wireless drops. My internet will be fine on the laptop, and then all of a sudden it might just drop the internet on the Wireless Network Connection Status and the IPv4 Connectivity will just not have Internet. I have to disable and re-enable the adapter for it to pick up internet again. It's really annoying. Other than that the router works fine. And the problem isn't really even the wireless connection. It just drops the internet and I can still access my router / network computers.

I am using N and the router is just 1 wall away. I seem to avg at around 50% signal strength and around 150mbps sometimes around 162-200ish mbps.

I am thinking about upgrading to 1.22NA if this keeps happening. Dunno if anyone else is having the same issue.

JL6speed I would recommend moving up to 1.22NA.

Ya, v1.21 is known for hangs and random reboots. Update to v1.22 and it will fix. Let us know how it goes.

haha.... I wouldn't really call it hangs or reboots. The home network part works great. The wireless however, drops the internet at random times (while the home network and the router itself is still accessible and working). I have not actually experienced any reboots as of yet, but I suppose if 1.22NA is safe I'll go ahead and do the upgrade.

Thanks for the inputs :)

Ya, v1.21 had the issue of wireless hangs and reboots. I was testing the beta version and they had issues. v1.22 takes care of the wireless. Works great now.
