Well I did the FW update again....successful.....I guess.    No problems I have been having were changed.

Try to use the two way talk function and all I get is crazy looped feedback......slow operation.........image clairty is TERRIBLE in the console full screen....thought this was 720p full frame video?

Loosing the wind in my sails.  I was debating on buying a fixed camera to add to another area of my house.....not sure dlink is the way to go or not.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Thanks -- yeah, that was my plan,.....theytold me they could not help until I had updated the formware as they felt that the FW would possibly solve any issues.

Riiiiiiiiight.  LOL

Of course they want you at the camera location when you call, and there is the language barrier.....plus the "CSR script" problem........ <sigh>

I bumped up QoS to 55 on audio and video and turned OFF the SD recording (left network recording on) to see how it responds.

You can always ask for higher level support.

Let us know how it goes.

Where were you when you did this test and got the feedback loop?

You might be more interested in the 960L and 2630L as fixed cameras... but be careful in location - they run hot and really pump out 1080p full image in high quality... The 2630l has the speaker function.  Newegg appears to always have a good sale on them.

It happenes anywhere I test it.....whether in the house (far away from the camera), outside, or 20 miles away.

Just tested it again and still the same issue....wearing headphones, using my Note 4 android.  The audio at the other end is virtually unrecognizable I am told due to the feedback sounds....

And I noticed that my video is really delayed from the audio...by about 5-8 seconds.
