COnvert Db to a video file
« on: December 28, 2015, 11:02:33 AM »

How do I convert the video stored into a video file I can save and share? Reason is what if I needed to give video to the police for a break-in?

Thanks.

Two option

1. log into the DNR-202L web interface and export the section you want.  Use que in Que out.
2. Use the HDD viewer  The DNR support page  links to http://d2okd4tdjucp2n.cloudfront.net/DNR-202L/DNR-202L_HddViewer.zip

I would recommend the viewer.

Sorry to sound like such a noob. I downloaded the viewer but I can't get it to access the files. I unmounted the drive and tried to access the files that way, no luck. Help?

Not sure what you have tried but here is how I do it.

1 open the program
2. click on the little film real in the upper right
3  click on the mall yellow folder in the upper left
4 Select your external drive and select avdata
5. select the date you want in the calendar
6  drag a box around the time and camera you want
7  slide the process bar left or right till you find the exact start time you want and Click the cue int (lower left)
8 Do the same the for the cue out.
9 click on the same to AVI  (top right of the six icons on right)
10 enter file name and OK to same file

Hope this helps

PAFL, thanks. Are you unmounting the drive from the DNR and plugging it in the computer to access the files?
