Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Has a Factory Reset been performed?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
  • What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have?

Are you correctly registered with mydlink.com with account?
Is the DIR-845L correctly registered with mydlink.com using the registration feature in the routers web page at 192.168.0.1?

Is the 1Tb drive formatted for NTFS? Most routers only support 500Gb drive sizes. Can you test a smaller size drive and see if that works?

I dont have the router yet,i just wondered if it's possible...

To hook up a harddrive to the router so it's accesible from everywhere in the world...

In that case i really want it!
