DNS-325 HDD Restore Problems
« on: June 09, 2020, 08:44:15 AM »

Hoping someone can help. I had a failed HDD and replaced it as described in various documents/discussion topics.  I selected RAID-1, which is what originally had, and when the formatting was completed, it was a Standard configuration, and it appears to have wiped both drives.  How can this be - what method can be used to ensure the non-failed drive is recovered?

Possible that 'Rebuild RAID" should have been used.
Did you check the documentation on the process of changing out drives when in RAID configuration to setup the drive and rebuild the RAID?

Yes, followed the directions specifically for a RAID rebuild from a failed single drive.
