Title: DCS 6210 - Infrared illuminator
Post by: freeman74 on February 05, 2015, 11:52:04 PM
Dear all,

i tried to use this camera with the IR illuminator present in another dlink camera (DCS 5222l), but it seems that the camera lens of 6210 isn't sensitive to the IR light.

should i use another kind of illuminator (i.e. with another ir light frequency) or i can't use any illuminator with this camera?

thank you
Freeman

I don't see where the camera has an IR cut filter. You need a regular light bulb.

Correct. The DCS-6210 does not support Night Mode. The camera can only detect visible light.
