Title: Testing 1.34EUb05 (LYCAN, SESCA OR MKHATRI REED) updated 10/09/02
Post by: kthaddock on May 30, 2010, 02:43:49 AM
I HAVE UPDATED TO 1.32EUb01

BUT REMOTACCESS DOESN'T WORK ON THIS VERSION, MADE BY DE-PEOPLE.
I COME TO A BLANK SIDE AND CAN READ:"Not Found" SEEMS THAT I'M CONNECTED
BUT NO FURTHER ACTION. SAME ON HTTP(S) DIRECT OR VIA DYNDNS.
Same behavior when your session have timed out, you get "not found" Doesn't work if you try to connecting with root address.
HTTP(S) WORKS FROM WIRELESS AND LAN-SIDE. You can direct downgrade from 1.32EUb01 to 1.31EUb02, that is possitive.
I HAVE'T TESTED UPNP SO I DONT KNOW IF IT WORKS, BUT IT'S REPORTED NOT WORKING IN FORUMS:

DIR-655A4 release notes.

Looking at the urgency you seem to contribute to this, it might be very useful to not only state your problem but also let all know which local configs (modem?) you've investigated.

Because 9/10 times not being able to connect from the outside is caused by the modem-router connection. If you do not already rule that out you send the Dlink people out on a wild goose chase  :P

kthaddock is right remote access just doesn't work no matter what the modem or else... and this is the firmware which was out just 3-4 months ago... that's a shame.

so what? is a new fully-working firmware going to be out soon?

I HAVE UPDATED TO 1.34EUb05
I HAVE TESTED THIS ALOT " DON'T USE THIS SH*IT !!!!"
Seems that programmers Matt and Jerry CAN'T program. If you look back on erlier versions that doesen't work they are involved. 1.31EUb02 from France is very good and working !. Give France programmers possibility to save d-links arse.

Remote management doesn’t work
1.34EUb05 from here (http://ftp://ftp.dlink.co.uk/dir_products/dir-655/DIR655A4_FW134EUb05.rar)

From LAN-side and wi-fi  http and https work.

From WAN side only http working and https reporting “NotFound”

When you try to save setting on Administrator Settings you have to write your admin password again.
Functions on that side need to be debugged, I’t happend strange things wich I don’t couldent test.

When you enable HTTPS and try to connect from WAN side you get error message: wrongkod: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long

Traffic Statistics seem to doesen't work. LAN Statistics=>seems to work !  WAN Statistics
and Wireless Statistics=>seems to work ! only show sent and recived, nothing else.

When you have reboted dir-655 the you don't have webaccess anymore, have to login through 192.168.0.1 and after that you can access http !

This Firmware tok my ISP-network down today and my other services behind my switch died.
THIS FIRMWARE IS A DISASTER, I HAVE NEVER GOT A FW WOH TAKE ISP DOWN !!!

I haven’t tested UpnP so I don’t know it’s working.
