Port Forwarding VideoGame: Doom (Zandronum)
« on: December 25, 2014, 06:10:59 PM »

Hi all. I have a problem with my recent D-link router DIR-850l.

I need to forward the ports 10666-10700 to start servers to play the game Doom (using Zandronum). When I do that, my server doesn't see in the list, but the LAN connection does. The list says what IP is using each server; in my lan connection says 192.168.0.103, but the Network server (with the mesagge No Response) says 200.83.10.xxx (my real IP). So, if I want to make a server in this game, I probably need to forward that IP, but this router don't let me do that.

I had an older version of D-link, the model was Dir-600. But in that older version I can forwarding these ports successfully. Not the real IP, but the ficiticial (192.168.0.1) and the servers are on the list, working. My location is Chile.

Best regards.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

I recommend you set up QoS rules for this:
DIR-645/835/868L/865L/826L Gaming and QoS for XBL

Similar to the XBL example...[/list]
