Title: DCS cameras not appearing online with mydlink.com
Post by: Mester on January 31, 2017, 06:17:10 AM
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this topic, so pls excuse me

I have two Dlink cams, DCS 5010L and a DCS 5020L
they are located on two locations, and using two different internet connections, one is at home and one in my Garage (away from home)
I use the mydlink Lite, where both cameras shows and works great
but today the are both offline, no matter what I do,  if I switch to local, I can see my Home camera, but not online
Tired on the computer as well, in different browsers, from different IPs, no connection ..

and it seams that the mydlink.com is online and working, anyone have an idea what to do?

thanks

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

I recommend setting a static IP address ON the cameras outside of the main host routers default DHCP IP address pool as a troubleshooting step: 192.168.#.10 and .20  DHCP (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58017.0)

Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=37689.0) both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=62395.0)

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
both are H/W ver A1
  • Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  Firmware 1.14
  • What region are you located?
Denmark, Europe

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
I have a fiber in my house, and it starts on a modem from the iSP, then to an Ethernet Gigabit switch, and from there to ASUS RT N56U, the home camera is on the wireless from ASUS router
the garage camera is on my Ipad with 4G as wifi sharing

on both cameras im able to se them on the myDlink Lite app on Iphone6 if is switch to local mode, but online both are dead ;(

the funny thing is, that I keep getting motion detection notifications from the garage cam on email, I wonder if the Dlink cloud is "full",  I set everything to max, jpg and video, and sometimes I get a lot when I forget to turn motion detection off, and now I can't turn it off, my friend is in the garage and the mails are floating ;)

I would turn OFF the one camera that you can turn off notifications on. Test with one camera. Then turn it off and re-test with the camera in the garage. If someones in there and you have motion detention on and he's moving around then of course, your going to get notifications.
