Javascript error

aiprime:
My FW is WW. I timed that it is 3 min before I was logged from from idle. I know there is a time out, but 3 mins is too short. Also, I mentioned "initGeneral()" prompt up, it may be the hint for bugfix.

I wonder your suggested steps are useless, at least, it has no ground for every users to setup again from scratch whenever updating the firmware. Do you agree?

It is enough for me for the testing and I am not the only one to report the case (at least in "Wishlist for DIR-850L" in sticky topic). Kindly investigate for the problem. I hope it would be fixed in future release.

FurryNutz:
There are reasons why I have users do factory resets and yes these are valid steps in troubleshooting as we have seem many issues after doing FW updates.

For security reasons, there is a timeout, if this is not a good solution for you then you'll need to find other means to work with it or find a different router. 3 minutes is usually the standard for all D-Link routers and is not a bug.

If your not willing to perform some of the suggestions or provide feedback to questions presented, then you'll need to phone contact your regional D-Link support office and have them help you sir. This forum is for help with immediate configurations, troubleshooting and setup. Anything beyond that needs to be addressed by D-Link engineers themselves, if there is a problem, as we can not effect any code fixes here in the forums.

Good Luck.

I agree that timeout is too short and should be customizable.
Javascript error before logout, did not really notice it, maybe it happened, didn't bother me that much.
All minor issues.

I'd rather engineer working on increasing 5GHz stability, so it didn't "die" after certain period of time,
and of course improving AC performance.
Comparing 1.05 to 1.07 I saw decrease in AC performance by up to 4 MB/s.

FurryNutz:
Please let us know if you notice this script error during the log out and what browsers you see it on the next time you notice it. If this is seen anywhere then we need to let D-Link know about it.
