i cant install my wireless router:S

I have a d'link wireless router but can't install it... i cannot find the problem... Could you please help me? when I enter the I.P into the browser bar, i get an error: this webpage is not available... please help needed so fast...

are you able to pull DHCP a from the router?

the router doesn't "install" as it were. You should be able to pull DHCP and ping the router, are you familiar with these terms?

no... too bad im not that familiar with these stuff.... ive been told that the problem is with the chip that comes with the router and lets me access the ip: 192.168.0.1

Hi,
   you are not giving much information on your problem...

If you have a wired computer directly to the router and are using XP you can go in the dos command line and type ipconfig if you can see 192.168.0.1 as default config then this means that the router is properly connected to your computer and that it gave an ip address to it.  ( this would also work for wireless connection but after you`ve search for the access point named dlink )  Don`t forget to change the admin password !!!
