Hi everybody,
I would like to know which method of bandwith management (token bucket/leaky bucket etc.) this switch uses (or D-Link switches use in general) when applying QoS->Bandwidth Control. Is there some technical documentation about this?
Thank you and kind regards,
Ken

Might look at the support site or user manual to see if there is any information regarding this. If not, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Link> Tech Support Contact Information (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=635.0)
We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I emailed the switch PM to answer this. Hope to hear back soon.

Any updates? I have tried the support via telephone with no luck...they told me they would "get back to me"

I hope to hear back from the PM later today.

This switch uses token bucket.

Thank you very much! This helps a lot. Did the switch PM happen to say if that method is generally used by D-Link switches in general?
-
They only said it is common for Broadcom chipsets to use token bucket and I believe D-Link uses Broadcom for most of the business switches.

Thanks again!
