I bought this product on IT year end sales, price about USD 216. its affordable and meets my budget of basic 4-bay requirement.
It comes with 1.2Ghz and 512MB memory, but I couldn't find this newly product review online. (I notice that firmware was released in April 2014, maybe launched in Australia earlier)

The DNS-340L was recently released. I'm not sure if this product will be released in the United States. At present it's only available overseas and the D-Link USA FTP and website do not contain any support material. This forum only contains boards for U.S. released products. I'll see what I can find out about the plans for this model. ??
-
D-Link USA is targeting Late February / Early March at the latest for general availability of this model in our region.
We should see a new board in this forum once this model becomes available.

I don't know how to read the result between RAID 0 & RAID 5, does it tell the quality?

Your results indicate (as expected) that RAID-0 performance is better than RAID-5. Write speed is 75 MB/s using RAID-0 and 50 MB/s using RAID-5.
-
I thought data distribute write to 5 disks speed should be faster than single disk.
Wondering how does RAID 1 performance...
Data migrate taking hours...

Off all HDD configurations, RAID-5 will always have the LOWEST performance. The RAID-5 protocol ensures data redundancy. If one HDD fails, you will not lose any data. That type of data protection comes at the cost of a more complex configuration and lower read/write times. Also keep in mind that a RAID-5 array with four HDDs will use ~25% of the usable space for redundancy. For example, if you have four 2TB HDDs (8TB total), the RAID-5 array will have a total size of ~6TB. Conversely, RAID-0 will have the best R/W performance, but is very risky since the failure of one HDD will result in a loss of 100% of your data. RAID-1 and Standard configuration will have similar performance to one another -- both will be faster than RAID-5, but slower than RAID-0.
