DWL-2600AP - ACL Management
« on: August 29, 2017, 07:37:11 AM »

Hello,

I'm looking to deploy a guest WiFi which has no internal network access. I've have setup an additional VAP for this purpose, but struggling to get the correct settings for ACL management. I have a class 'B' network which means we have an IP range for 192.168.0-63.0-254 the documentation only seems to cater for a class 'C' network range (192.168.1.0.-254).

Does anyone have any clarity on the ACL 'UP'/'Down' scenario of the Client QoS VAP settings, Is this describing access within the network or external to the network. If its describing both I assume x1 ACL name would not be enough and x2 would need to be created to govern. With regards to rules, does the order of create denote the rule weight or can they be created in any order. If I was to Create a blanket deny, then add an except for x1 source IP would the blanket deny supersede the x1 exception.
