Can't connect to "N" when router is "Mixed"
« on: October 14, 2009, 03:29:49 PM »

I have the DWA-542 and the DIR-625 Router.
I have a laptop that and Ipod that are only capable of "G" wireless so I need to keep the mode to Mixed but I would like my desktop to connect at N speeds. I have tried "N" only on the router and the 542 will detect and connect at 300Mbps. However if I put it to mixed it will only gonnect at 54mbps. I have tried the latest stable drivers and the 2008 beta drivers.

Is their a way to force the 542 to connect at N?

Thanks!
