m3u playlist files not working
« on: July 13, 2008, 02:35:24 AM »

I am trying to use my DNS-323 in conjunction with a DSM-750 Medialounge. I have found that the playlist files (.m3u files) are always showing up as empty. I can create the same playlists in Windows Media Player and the DSM-750 will happily play them. But of course, I got the DNS-323 so I would not have to keep my computer on!

Anyone got these playlists to work?

The DNS-323 UPNP AV media server does not support playlist playback from NAS

It would be really nice then if tech support did not keep refering me to http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=2605&question=playlist when I ask.

Is this problem going to be corrected or should I trash this device and get one that works?

The link refers to the DSM-G600. This feature has been requested to be added in the next firmware release.
