D-Link DSR 1000 N Serious Problem!!!! Cant reach WebOS
« on: January 25, 2016, 04:55:06 AM »

Hey everybody,
since yesterday i am facing a problem with my DSR 1000N Router. I upgraded to the latest firmware FW202B8 and in my opinion everything was fine. The router restarted and after Login, the router crashes and i cant reach it anymore. Power Plug off and i tried again....same problem...push Reset button for 10 sek. ...same problem!

Power LED ist solid amber/orange (Device during power-on process) and 2,4 GHz LED is blinking. Link LED are solid green and amber. I have no idea what to do.

Could anybody help?

Thanks

My Setup: Windows 7 Pro 64bit, Gigabit Ethernet, latest Firefox

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
  • Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?
  Link> >FW Update Process

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Can you ping the routers IP address after you load the FW and do a reboot or power cycle? Do you get an IP address on the wired PC?

I would get D-Link support on the phone and reference this thread. Seems like the file is loading. Just getting hung up after some where and not coming to ready.
