DCS-5009L NVR Compatibility
« on: October 13, 2015, 09:18:15 PM »

I saw in the DCS-202L post that this NVR is not compatible with the DCS-5009L.  If that's the case, what NVR is compatible with the DCS-5009L?  I have three cloud cameras.  I had the 202L set up, but it drained my wifi to an unusable point that I disconnected it.  I'm trying to have recording set up only during scheduled times when we're not home.  An option I've thought of is just unplug the NVR when we're home so that we can use wifi with no issue and then plug it in before we leave.

Any help/suggestions would be great!

What MFr and model main host router do you have?

Possible that having too little WiFi support would be a cuase of having 3 cameras and a NVR online at the sametime while all is streaming to the NVR. You may need more WiFi support.

IF the NVR is not listed as being comatible, the it would recommended to get into a DNS series storage product for best performances and storage capability.
