This procedure describes how to update the firmware on a D-Link ShareCenter DNS-310, DNS-321, DNS-323, DNS-325, and DNS-343.
DNS-320/DNS-325/DNS-320L/DNS-345
- Download the firmware file to your PC desktop (from the D-Link website/FTP site for your region)
- Using a web browser, enter the IP address of your ShareCenter
- Use a browser to log into the ShareCenter web interface
- Navigate to: Management > System Management > Firmware Upgrade
- Upgrade the firmware (select the firmware file previously saved to your desktop)
DNS-321/DNS-323
- Download the firmware file to your PC desktop (from the D-Link website/FTP site for your region)
- Using a web browser, enter the IP address of your ShareCenter
- Log into the ShareCenter web interface
- Press the Configure button
- Navigate to: TOOLS > FIRMWARE > FIRMWARE UPGRADE
- Upgrade the firmware (select the firmware file previously saved to your desktop)
DNS-343
- Download the firmware file to your PC desktop (from the D-Link website/FTP site for your region)
- Using a web browser, enter the IP address of your ShareCenter
- Log into the ShareCenter web interface
- Press the Configure button
- Navigate to: MAINTENANCE > Firmware Upgrade > FIRMWARE UPGRADE
- Upgrade the firmware (select the firmware file previously saved to your desktop)
Notes

- Benefits of saving a Configuration Settings File prior to upgrading firmware: DNS ShareCenter - Configuration Settings File (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41866.0)
- If the firmware file is compressed (e.g. zip extension), un-compress the firmware file prior to upgrading
- The local PC hosting the firmware file should have a wired connection (not wireless)
- Upgrading firmware should not impact on the ShareCenter HDD configuration
- Upgrading firmware should not impact data on your ShareCenter
- Always maintain a backup of your data prior to performing any firmware upgrade
