Screen recording feature on apple iphone produces black screen???

Hello My first post here. First let me say that I've owned 10 of these cameras and will continue to buy! I have a business and use for security. I occasionally have to get videos from the saved app to my email. I used to be able to use the screen record feature on my phone that saved it to my phone as a video and I could email. Now when I try that It blacks out the screen as soon as the recording starts. Sound still works and and records that but no video? Woks with other camera apps so I'm assuming its this app? Thank you for you time.
