Motion detection....

MotoACEz:
Hi there, I have been using this camera for about 3 months and it seems to work good except I have the motion detection set at the lowest setting and I still get a bunch of false detection what can I do?

RYAT3:

Where is the camera pointed?

What motion detection are you using?

(it looks like only video motion detection, no PIR... http://www.dlink.com/-/media/Consumer_Products/DCS/DCS%205009L/Manual/DCS_5009L_A1_Manual_v1_00_WW.pdf )

MotoACEz:
Hi there, thanks for the response.
1) the camera is pointed in a room or should I say a shop, the windows are cardboard up so no light can get in it's a 10x20 shop or I have a few motorcycles in the shop, so there is no movement......
2) I'm not sure of your question here it just has motion detection on or off and then a sliding scale of sensitivity which is set to the lowest.....
Again thanks so far for your help!!!

FurryNutz:
Any status on this?

RYAT3:

There might be too much noise in the video... that's my only guess.

If we could see one of these false positives...
