DIR-625 rev C drops and connection issue
« on: January 22, 2011, 01:05:36 PM »

DIR-625 rev C firmware 3.08.

I have the router for over a year and recently (1 month) started having problem where it was taking too long to connect to websites. Some more investigation showed that I would see that the router is "identifying" mode and it comes and goes. I have 3 laptops in the house and all of them are seeing similar problem. All are on Windows 7.

I checked the log during these connection issues and found line stating Dropped connections and had in brackets IP 6 or IP 17 written as the reason.

Once I power cycle the router it seems to work better for sometime and then start acting up.

Any ideas suggestions what to do?
Seems like the router is dying as I had not done any real change to my setting and this started happening.
