Mysterious button on DIR-635
« on: December 25, 2010, 12:07:31 PM »

Dear Forum users.

On the right side of my new router I found a mysterious button with a double arrow symbol (like a "reload" symbol) that flashes blue for about one minute if i press it. I can't find any references to the button in the manual. Does any of you know what this button is for?

Several router are now coming "equipped" with a WiFi Protected Setup button.  This is to be able to set up a PIN code to protect the wireless network, providing the computer's wireless adapter can accept the PIN code.
