Title: 327L and Apple Mac high sierra, NAS is not in network?
Post by: streamline on September 25, 2018, 04:51:15 AM
Hi,

My 327L is not appearing in my network. It appears in the setup wizard, but I dont want to format the drive because its got all my data on it.

Has anyone any tips for accessing the drive on High Sierra?

Thanks!

Sometimes it appears but when I try to access it I get the error:

"The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “Volume_1” can’t be found."

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
Is the DNS getting a Dynamic IP address from the main host router? I recommend using a Static IP address ON the DNS set to 192.168.#.27 or .32.

Can you access the DNS from a different PC or device?
Can you manually connect to the IP address of the DNS when you select open network share via SMB?
