Title: Internet drops and DNS Relay
Post by: peskett on November 30, 2019, 06:46:42 AM
First of all, I bought this router only a few weeks ago to improve wifi range on my old router. None of these issues existed previously so I'm pretty certain its something with this router.

Nearly everytime I go to load a web-page, for about 5 seconds nothing loads then suddenly it works. I also can't consistently stream anything in high quality, it just buffers every few seconds.
I turned off DNS relay last week and it fixed it, but its gone back for some reason. Reset and turned off DNS relay again and its made no difference.

Any help? Thanks

Are you using v1.20 from the AU site or this one from the USA site? http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=74934.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=74934.0)

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed on the router? Power OFF the Fiber ONT for 30 seconds then back ON if you have one at the home.
