Title: DNR-312L "The cameras total frame rate out of range"
Post by: LuisIbarra on May 05, 2016, 10:16:03 AM
Hi, I have a problem with my DNR-312L. I hace connected 4 cameras: Three DCS-2630L and One DCS-7010L, and when I use all cameras in 30fps mode appear the message "The cameras total frame rate out of range" in the main screen of the DNR-312L.

The DNR-312L has the last firmware 1.05.06 and the oficial specs in the website says this:

Recording Performance
First video profile:
H.264 at 720p at 270 fps or 1080p at 135 fps
Secondary video profile:
H.264 at VGA at 135 fps

I understand that the max fps rate is 135fps at 1080p, then 4 cameras at 30fps (4x30=120fps) is minor than 135fps max rate and the NVR can support the 4 cameras at 30fps without problems.

Please Your help with this issue, Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

Luis.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

What happens if you test with just one camera while the others are turned off? Same thing? Try two cameras and test.
What FW is loaded on each camera?

-What Hardware version is your DNS? Look at the sticker behind or under the device
DNR-312L  Hardware Version:  A1

-Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DNSs web page under status.
DNR-312L  Firmware: 1.05.06

-What region are you located?
Perú

-What Mfr and model is the main host router?
One (01)  DNR-312L Connected to the Main Switch (TRENDNET TEG-160WS)
One (01)  DCS-7010L Camera connected directly via PoE to the Main Switch (TEG-160WS)
One (01) DCS-2630L Camera connected to DLink DIR-890L AC Wifi Router (access point mode) and connected to the Main Switch (TEG-160WS)
Two (02) DCS-2630L Cameraa connected to Apple Airport Extreme AC Wifi Router (access point mode) and connected to the Main Switch (TEG-160WS)

-What happens if you test with just one camera while the others are turned off? Same thing? Try two cameras and test.
What FW is loaded on each camera?
I tried many configurations and I saw that max FPS frame rate is 100fps instead of 135fps that specs says. If I configure the combinations of cameras fps below 100fps they work well, but above 100fps appear the message "The cameras total frame rate out of range".

Three (03) DCS-2630L Firmware: 1.02

Thanks in advance.

What is the result if you select the "Optimize" button?
So using just one camera connected still results in this message being displayed?

If I select the optimize button, the DNR-312L set the three DCS-2630L cameras in 20 fps and keep the DCS-7010L in 30fps.

If I use only one camera the message does not appear, If I use three cameras (2 DCS-2630L and 1 DCS-7010L) the message does not appear.

If I combine the fps of all camera and is above of 90/100 fps the message appear.

The three DCS-2630L cameras are in 1920x10180 ant the DCS-7010L in 1280x720.

Thx in advance.

Ok, seems like the DNR is having issues in the combining of all cameras and specified support for 135. This needs to be reviewed by D-Link support.
I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
