DIR-880L
Hardware version A2
Firmware version 1.07WW
on CABLE DHCP - Region is CANADA/ ISP Modem is Videotron / Unknown model
uPnP is enabled
UI access is enabled on HTTPS
I can test 1.08 later.
FurryNutz:
Does same thing happen if you disable uPnP and remote access to UI?
laforcem:
Ok... it is not a bug. By default Upnp is enabled on this router and this is a security risk.
Maybe it should be disabled by default as recommend.

FurryNutz:
That's a 5 year old article, even though it does have some good info, for time it was written, uPnP implementations was fixed. It was a core uPnP driver issue that all Mfrs including DD-WRT and OpenWRT was using at the time. The issue was fixed I believe. Been a while. ???
I've asked to see if what your noticing with uPnP on the 880L is a problem or not.
D-Links says current uPnP works as designed. Not a bug.
