Title: Win 7 vs Win XP / Vista
Post by: p23185 on November 15, 2009, 01:08:05 PM
If I upgrade one of my PCs to Win 7 Home Prem, will my DNS-323 support all three Win OS?  There is quite a bit written about the need to have all Win 7 Home Networking be the same version of 7.  I am trying to figure out if my DNS-323 file data and streaming video will be locked out of one or more PCs running different Window OSs. (before I spend hundreds to join the Win 7 converts).

Sure, I have XP, Vista, and Win7 here, as well as Linux and an occasional Windows 2000 thrown in.  No problem at all.

Thanks much.  Will be giving 7 a try and get rid of the one Vista I have.  For now will stay with my XP which is so stable.

I've moved to Windows 7 as my primary operating environment, it's worked very well so far.  I never did make the jump to Vista, though I have one desktop and a laptop with it.  I made the desktop into a game machine for my grandson, he doesn't know the difference. :D
