Hi,
After I upgraded the firmware to 2.11, I can no longer download video files from the SD card to my local hard drive. Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be wrong? or how to fix it

What version of FW were you on before?
Was the camera working before you updated it?
-
First of all, thank you so much for responding.
I honestly can't remember the previous firmware version. But I have only updated the firmware one time. And I did make sure that A/B version was correct.
The camera worked perfectly fine when I had used it previously. But I unplugged it and the adapter and it has been sitting inside a drawer unused since then, which probably has been 4-5 months? maybe?
I found that if I take the SD card out and put it into a reader, then I can access the files from the SD card just fine. But...I can't download from the webpage from the Camera's IP address. And I did try compatibility mode in IE (Not Edge). I also tried firefox and chrome as well.

You might regress to a prior version and see if you can get this back...possible something was changed In recent versions.

Has anyone else had similar issues

yes, same problems here.
First of all: Delete the old folder otherwise these files will never be deletete and if you chose automatet deletion only the new one got deletet.
To download in the meanwhile: copy link (firefox right click, copy link), paste it in a new window. It looks like
http://xxx/cgi/admin/getSDFile.cgi?file=20161017_131543D.jpg&path=/20161017/13/20161017_131543D.jpg you have to ajust it
http://xxx/cgi/admin/getSDFile.cgi?file=20161017_131543D.jpg&path=20161017/13/20161017_131543D.jpg (delete one /)
My opinion: in logfile the mentioned to correct the folder, but they forgot the folder (http://xxx/cgi/admin/getSDFile.cgi?file=20161017_082301D.jpg&path=DCS-942L/20161017/08//20161017_082301D.jpg = A-Version) and without folder the forgot to remove the "/" at the beginning of the downloadlink
So a workaround till next version. But 2.11 is much smoother than 2.10!

Same problem with the 2 DCS-942LB I have. Can't download any of the files off the SD card. The only way is to swap cards about 3 times a week, and try to weed through what I have to keep and get rid of. I did see the post about changing the URL or something, but I am not going to be cutting and pasting over and over just to find files. This is a must fix in the new FW update. If it doesn't get fixed in the next few weeks, I will be downgrading the FW back to 2.00. At least then I knew they worked...

Can you downgrade back to the FW version that was working and see if that fixes this?
