Major feature missing in 5222L?
« on: December 05, 2012, 07:12:04 PM »

I am considering purchase 5222L. After going through user manual http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DCS-5222L/Manuals/DCS-5222L_A1_Manual_v1.20%28EU%29.pdf, I found it is not possible to set time schedule for motion detection(see page 34). I just wonder whether this is just missing in the user manual which is based on an older version firmware, or it is indeed an oversight in the functionality of 5222L?

I compared the user manual with DCS-2132L, http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DCS-2132L/Manuals/DCS-2132L_A1_Manual_v1.00%28WW%29.pdf. It is clear has this function on page 42.

Thanks

Motion detection on a schedule is a feature lacking in many SOHO DCS IP Camera models.
