cant get dap1320 to work, pulling my hair out
« on: June 07, 2014, 08:52:34 AM »

I have gone through all the steps, the wps easy method doesn,t look like it works, I gather I should get a solid green light at some point but don,t. I have tried the manual setup, get to the point where I am in the current status page and have a green checkmark, I try both of the way to proceed, the WPS setup and where you have to press a button to continue and it always says I run out of time. The second when it is looking to connect, it justs keeps seaching and nothing happens. Meanwhile by then my solid green light is gone and my connection goes. I am obviously not doing something I need to, because I do get  a green light. To explain a bit more. We have a wired computer and 2 Ipad touch, I am adding the extender to be able to get better connection on other floor. I am going into my wired computer when I need to get into dlinkap local. Should I use the wired computer or do I need to use Ipod. I have tried but not having any success either. Do I have to individually set up each gadget? I am so lost right now. Anyone have an easy instructions?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Are you using the DAP in Stand lone AP mode or are you trying to connect it to a already installed main host wifi router?
