Does anyone know the camera Streaming url?
« on: March 16, 2012, 08:58:12 PM »

I'd like to get the DCS-932L working on Ustream.  To do that I need to be able to provide a streaming url like  "http://x.x.x.x/mjpg.cgi".  I know dlink doesn't officially support this but it has to work since people are using other 3rd party apps with the camera.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks

To directly access the video stream, use the following address: http://[camera_ip_address]/mjpeg.cgi

Open the Web UI, navigate to the LIVE VIDEO page, and instantiate a live feed. Next, copy the page source code into a text editor and extract the HTML code snippet containing the video frame/feed. From here you can insert the extracted HTML code into another web page.

Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your camera.  The page that opens up is the Web UI or Web User Interface.

Right click anywhere on a page in Firefox and select "View Page Source"

Right clicking shows "view page info". There's 4 tabs; General, Media, Permissions, & Security, none of which has any source code.

While your mouse is pointing on the body of the web page (but not the live video feed), right click and you should have an option labeled "View Page Source"
