Hi,
router was working fine, and then one day it lost all the light, just power was solid orange.
Tried reset, holding reset to do emergency firmware update, nothing helped.
Power Light always stayed orange, no other lights even blinked once...
Any help?
Thanks

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Check the power adapter tip for voltage and amps. If good here, possible router is dead.
I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

You can try this:
Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.msg163599#msg163599)
If this fails, then you'll need to find a new router.

Thanks, but tried, light never blinks. Only stays orange.
Nevertheless i tried with static ip in 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.1.0 range - could not access 192.168.0.1/192.168.1.1 respectively.
Tried tft flashing also - never even started :)

I think you need a new router. :-\
