So our last router (Linksys) quit on us the other day so we got this one.  We plug it in and it works most of the time, but the connection drops out periodically.  Also, for some reason, I am now unable to connect to Xbox Live using my laptop as a router (plugging the ethernet cable from my xbox to my laptop).  Also, when I plag it in, the internet stops working on my laptop and I have to restart it to get it to work again.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I would change the WiFi mode from Mixed to single mode G to test with out any security. Then try Mixed G and N modes. Then turn on WPA2 an cipher type to auto.

I recommend using wired for xbox however Wireless should work good though.
Can take a look at the DGL-4500 forum for the XBL sticky for some help there too.
